A new feeling

The very first time I saw you,

I liked what I saw.
It took me by complete surprise.
I didn't think I wanted to be with anyone at all.

And then it was suggested,
for me to give you a chance.
At first I wasn't sure what to do,
But decided to take a second glance.

After talking that first night,
I knew there was something different about you.
I realized you made me feel special,
But the feeling I felt was new.

As time goes on the feelings continue to grow.
From a hug, I don't want to let go.
I feel that I can talk to you about everything,
And that feeling is good to know.

For you, I want all things.
You are on my mind all day.
The thought of sleeping is nowhere near,
And with that I am okay.
